Overview
The name literally means Black Horse. The crescent-shaped Kala Ghoda precinct is Mumbai’s premier art district. The area, full of museums, art galleries, educational institutions, boutiques and restaurants has a large number of heritage buildings in the city and is home to the Jehangir Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Modern Art, the Prince of Wales Museum and The Arts Trust. Each year, the area hosts the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, a cultural festival promoting the arts.
Itinerary
- Gather at CST Station west @ 7:15 am
- Head towards Kyani Restaurant @ 7:30 am
- Have breakfast @ Kyani’s Restaurant
- Move Towards Flora Fountain @ 9:00 am
- Reach Kala Ghoda @ 9:30 am
- Explore Kala Ghoda Art Festival
- Start the return journey to CST Station @ 1:00 pm
- Bid adieu and return to respective destinations.

Things to Carry:
- 1-2 Litres Water (MUST)
- CAP (MUST)
- Camera (Optional – Capture the moments in your Heart !!!)
Cost
- Escape to Explore does not charge any amount for Photo Walks.
- If any entry fee, camera charges, forest charges, etc. needs to be paid by participants
Terms
Rules
- All our tours are Eco-friendly, kindly take care of the nature around us.
- Smoking and Drinking alcohol during, Photo-walk is strictly prohibited if anyone found doing that will be expelled from Photo-walk without refund.
- Respect the Heritage and culture. Do Not Litter, Participants are requested to carry the waste back to the city and dispose of it in dustbins.
- Leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
- Escape to Explore is not liable in any way whatsoever for any injury or loss (including any indirect or consequential loss) of any kind to person or property suffered by any participant whether by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent.
